Jose Oquendo 1 and 2 are very similar to Buck Miller IV but they will also utilize defensive replacements early and often. Jose Oquendo 1 also takes after Ron Peranosky and uses a batters faced limit to manage how long starters are allowed to pitch. Jose Oquendo 1 - He will pull his starting pitcher after he’s faced 27 batters in a game. He will only let the starter face more batters if he doesn’t have an available reliever. - He will replace his 2B for a better defensive option any time he gets a 2 run lead or if he has just 1 run lead from the 7th inning on. - He will replace his C for a better defensive option any time he gets a 3 run lead or if he has just 1 run lead from the 7th inning on. - He will also replace any other position where he has a better defensive option when he is leading by 2 runs in the 8th or 1 run in the 9th. - He will also replace any other position where he has a better defensive option and he has a 6 run lead or is down by 6 runs. Jose Oquendo 2 - He will pull his starting pitcher after he’s faced 27 batters in a game.
