Frank Nitti: Modern, Draft, AIM, DH or Non-DH, WBFs ON A Custom Manager with some specific strategies/programming; but should be okay to try. Manager is nearly identical to Buck Miller IV with exception of some specific strategies and player usage. Steals limited to 100% with the exception of ondeck batters with low OBP (under .350) and the 6th inning earlier. Base runners are given a 33% boost to steal in -2/+2 games. PITCHING Starters: Team specific usage here. Pitchers with 30 or more starts, 21 or 25 and ERAs under 4.00 are considered starters. All other pitchers will be used in relief. Closers: By actual saves - closers have saves of 12-19, superclosers are those with save totals of 30 or more. Two inning closers used for normal/regular closers. LaRussa one-inning superclosers with setup pitchers used in the 6-8th innings. Starters pulled quickly - after 26 batters or with RR left of 7 and less. Nitti includes a player/pitcher specific strategy that pulls starters with 21 starts after 5 innings or before if losing by 4 or more runs (unless pitching a no-hitter). Will pull struggling closers; doesn't stick with one until save is blown. Setup relievers used IF supercloser available. Not setup guys used if normal closer. Starters pulled with 7-9 run lead (9th/8th/7th innings - ie., 9 run lead in the 7th, 8 in the 8th, 7 in the 9th). Itchy relievers given outings but not limited to one batter. MM based on the Buck Miller III manager with adjustments to better fit a specific roster. Quick modern hook with starters both in save situations and also "safe" games as noted above. OFFENSE Steals influenced greatly by steal success/chance. Same with H&R. Limited bunting except late with critical run on base. Steals based on 100% limits with exception above. Greatly considers platoon ratings when PHing. Blowout sub strategies - PR, PH, Def Sub. H&R can be aggressive if given the right players (low steal chance requirement - 20 with runner on 3rd/ 18 with runner on 2nd). High power hitters do not H&R (ISO under .175 ONLY). Z pitchers or low walk average hitters with 2 or more HR rating will swing away. Some very team and player specific strategies with blowout subbing. Very aggressive subbing but limited to some individual players. So, this will be a problem area. Lots of double switches, especially in lopsided games. Will: PR to steal second or third, PR with better defensive players, will PH if DH has platoon disadvantage, PH to bunt in critical situations, and also PH with better H&R hitter where appropriate.
